About Holiday Let Swap

We're a family based in Cornwall with five holiday lets and a zest for travelling. We'd looked into companies that swap families actual homes across the world but decided we didn't feel comfortable with having others in our home, the confusing point systems and lack of insurance etc. — so our Holiday Let Swap idea and club was born.

We use a company to market and book our properties, and that works fantastically for us — reaching guests we'd never be able to access ourselves. We also have more downtime off-peak and booking freedom, but not necessarily the money during those times to afford trips away. Our contract also allows us to privately book a certain number of weeks during the high season, which normally get used up with returning guests or family — but if we could swap for a holiday for ourselves, well, we know how our two boys would vote!

Having spent time researching what was out there and what could work effectively for our needs, we decided to start a business that would create a community and connect others just like us.

We also want to ensure that the businesses who join our journey at the beginning are rewarded. For the first 500 listings, a reduced price of just £49.99 will be in place for the first three years, £89.99 for those joining later on.

We're also using the community as a way of sharing relevant articles, changes in law, and introducing companies that might benefit your business. So this club could not only give you free holidays — it could also help improve your business, enabling you to legitimately put the membership fees through your books!

If you find a property that you are keen to visit but they don't want to holiday at yours, then between you both a discounted price can be agreed and let's be fair, an extra booking; especially during off peak can be a great bonus for their books and bank balance and in turn you get a highly discounted break away!
